Industrial Meeting in Rosario: UIA, Adimra, Fisfe and AIM analyzed the situation of the sector
The Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario (AIM) received this Friday the president of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), Martín Rapallini, who visited the city accompanied by a national entity delegation. The day concluded with a meeting with Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, at the Government Headquarters of the Province of Santa Fe in Rosario.
During the meeting between industrialists, representatives of the Association of Industrials of the Argentine Republic and the Industrial Federation of Santa Fe (FISFE) also participated, the current situation and the perspectives of the industrial sector were addressed. Rafael Catalano, president of AIM, presented a panorama of the state of the regional metallurgical industry, pointing out the need to generate equitable conditions to compete nationally and internationally.
in that mArc, the representatives of the mother organization of the Argentine industrial sector shared the main lines of action that promotes the UIA.
Subsequently, the industrial group was received by the governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro. In this meeting a broad agenda of topics were addressed: employment, art, logistics costs, infrastructure and challenges linked to the competitiveness of the industry.
It was especially highlighted that in Santa Fe more than 50% of formal employment is generated by the industrial sector. In addition, the need for policies that favor productivity and allow companies to compete in the international market was insisted.
The meeting ended with the commitment to continue working in an articulated manner between the public and private sector to promote the industrial development of the region and the country.
