AIM participated in the solidarity auction of Poli stools
The Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario (AIM) participated in the traditional Stool Auction of the General San Martín Higher Polytechnic Institute. Representing the AIM were Mariano Casermeiro and Mariano Iturrospe, who highlighted the institution's commitment to technical education.
Since 2015, this initiative, promoted by alumni of the class of 1990, aims to raise funds for the Poli cooperative, supporting maintenance projects and building improvements of this emblematic institution. During the event, 12 stools made by local artists were auctioned, as well as other unique objects created in the entity's workshops such as steam engines, mini stools, brain games and desk lamps.
AIM stood out by winning the bid for the fourth stool. The participation of its representatives reflects the Association's commitment to the educational community, the development of the industry and the training of future professionals.
The event, which brought together alumni, industrialists and businessmen, had its most emotional moment when the class of 1987 acquired the last stool for the sum of $1,000,000, dedicating the purchase to the memory of their four classmates who died in the attack from New York.
Congratulations to Poli for another successful charity event!
