At the headquarters of the Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario (AIM) the presentation of the book “Transformations and challenges of the Rosario metallurgical industry at the beginning of the 21st century”, published by the National University of Rosario (UNR), was held.

The work, coordinated by Gabriel Frontons and María Fernanda Ghilardi, brings together a detailed analysis of the recent evolution of the metallurgical sector in the region, its productive transformations and the challenges it faces in a context of technological and economic changes.

During the meeting, the authors shared the main conclusions of the study and reflected on therole of the metallurgical industry in the productive network of Gran Rosario.

The dean of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Statistics of the UNR, Javier Ganem, highlighted the importance of strengthening the links between the public university and the productive sector, promoting research that provides knowledge applied to regional development.

For his part, Roberto Cristia, former president of AIM Rosario, stressed the relevance of this type of publications and the need for business institutions to accompany and support the work of the academic field.
