The Executive Committee of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) – headed by the president of the institution, Daniel Funes de Rioja – received the Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Claudio Moroni. The agenda of the meeting included strategies to enhance the generation of jobs and the prominence of the industry in the face of new employability challenges.

The president of the UIA, Daniel Funes de Rioja, participated in a meeting with the Minister of Productive Development, Matias Kulfas; the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Luis Basterra; and the Secretary of Internal Trade, Paula Español, to address the implementation of INYM resolution 170/2021. During the meeting, issues related to the impacts of the measure on the development of the sector in the NEA were analyzed, along with points of regulation that concern the productive sector. It was agreed to define a common agenda between technical teams that allows progress on more details regarding the regulations.
On Tuesday, July 13, the Green Productive Development Plan was launched from the Reciclar S.A plant in Sarandí-Bs As. Minister Kulfas presented its work axes and its strategic lines, among which he mentioned Mobility Sustainable, the production of green hydrogen, green industrialization, the energy transition, a Plan for Green SMEs, a National Circular Economy Plan, Sustainable Construction and a National Sustainable Mining Plan. Participating in the launch event by the UIA were Diego Leal, member of the Executive Committee, and Marisol Rodriguez, UIA Joven Authority, along with representatives of sectoral and regional chambers.
With the publication of Resolution 352/2021 of the Ministry of Productive Development of the Nation, the Green Productive Development Plan is createdwithin the orbit of the Advisory Cabinet Unit of that Ministry, with the following objectives: a) Promote productivity and competitiveness, as well as product differentiation through innovation, ecodesign and the green economy to improve access to dynamic markets. b) Promote circular production processes, the gradual reduction and replacement of virgin raw materials and the reuse of unused materials. c) Promote the use of renewable energies and the production of national equipment for their use, as well as the reduction of energy consumption as a strategy to improve competitiveness. And d) Promote the strengthening of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the objective of reducing the vulnerability of productive systems and regional economies to climate change.br />
With an assigned budget of $10,065 M, they plan the following short-term actions:
