Given the difficulties that companies categorized as SGP3 are going through, obliged to carry out their 2021/2022 annual contracts expiring on April 30, UIA is taking steps before ENARGAS and the Ministry of Energy.
We have informed the authorities regarding the situation, in which numerous companies report that they received offers well into the month of April 2021 and, furthermore, with prices above 3.5 u$s/mmbtu, using as a reference the result of CThe GasAr 2020/2024 Plan is underway, reaching over 4.60 u$s/mmbtu, depending on the Basin of origin. Furthermore, the bidders state that they do not have security of winter supply, reinforcing this claim with the argument of the conflict in Neuquén.
