We share with you two news about efforts carried out by the entity.
On the one hand, the ADIMRA authorities participated yesterday in the Metalworking Roundtable meeting convened by the Ministry of Productive Development and in which representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Economy also participated. The President of ADIMRA, Orlando Castellani, was accompanied by the 1st Vice President, Gerardo Venutolo, the General Secretary, Nora Reznik, and the Guild Secretary, Luis Manini. During the meeting, ADIMRA raised concerns about the existing delays in the collection of the capital bonus, as well as the importance of working in a regimen that is more agile and provides greater predictability to SMEs. The importance of promoting local production was also raised in the various bills that are under discussion, as is the case with the Hydrocarbons Law. During the meeting, the need to maintain financing lines at competitive rates to boost production was raised, as well as speed up monetization in those lines that are channeled directly through the Ministry of Productive Development. Finally, the existing concern was raised regarding the supply of inputs, mainly the increases in basic inputs that adversely impact SME competitiveness.
On the other hand, ADIMRA authorities attended a meeting today with the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas, and with the Minister of Labor, Claudio Moroni. The meeting was attended by the 1st Vice President, Gerardo Venutolo, and the Director, Gustavo Corradini. During the meeting, authorities from the business chambers of the Argentine Federation of Wood and Related Industries (FAIMA), the Argentine Federation of the Graphic and Related Industries (FAIGA), and the Argentine Federation of the Footwear and Related Industries (FAICA) also participated. The objective of the meeting was to present to the authorities a project that aims to improve employability conditions, training job seekers to fill the profiles demanded by the industry.
