Meeting of the Permanent Table of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Central Region
Rosario was the scene of the fourth workday of the permanent table of work, employment and social security . The event, held in the river, brought together government representatives, union, business and academics of Santa Fe, Córdoba and Entre Ríos, consolidating a space for dialogue for the formulation of labor policies.

The day included a union forum and a technical panel in which the expectations and challenges of artificial intelligence in the world of work were discussed, in addition to the necessary regulations to guarantee equity in its implementation. A plenary focused on the impact of economic policies on production and employment was also developed, with emphasis on deregulations, commercial openingand the financial system.
In this sense, Santa Fe Labor Minister Roald Bascolo stressed the need to analyze these issues from a regional perspective. "From the center region we must establish our own agenda and discuss what is happening in key sectors such as steel -siderurgy, automotive industry, refrigerators, textile industry and footwear, because they are realities that impact our people today," he said.
Another of the axes addressed was the growing incidence of psychosocial risk factors in the workplace, with special emphasis on problematic consumption and work stress.
Rafael Catalano, president of the Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario (AIM), together with representatives of the Metallurgical Workers Union (UOM), Liliana and Boero Autopartes appliances, they were part of the "Fact panelPsychosocial risk, consumption, addictions and work stress "and signed a work agreement together with the growing problem.
"We took the first step in this important issue, being AIM and the UOM the first sectors to sign an agreement on the promotion, prevention and intervention in problematic consumption in the workplace. This is a commitment that we assume with responsibility, working together for the well -being of workers and contributing to social welfare as a whole," said Catalan.
The meeting reaffirmed the importance of the articulation between sectors to build a more dynamic and equitable labor market, adapted to technological, economic changescos and social that crosses the region.
