YOUNG INDUSTRIALS NEXT TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE NATION

Representatives of UIA Joven held a meeting with President Alberto Fernández last Tuesday, August 11, in Olivos. Tomas Karagozian, president of UIA Joven, and Marisol Rodríguez, secretary of space, were with the President. More than 95 young representatives of the different entities that are members of the UIA, sectoral and territorial, were connected by teleconference, making it a very federal audience.

The opening was made by Tomás Karagozian, thanking the meeting and mentioning: “we have to put aside the field “or” industry disputes and start the fight of the “Y”, saying Industry and field, Industry and commerce… and that's enough of the “O”. We must vindicate the role of the Industrialist, since it provides work, generates value and has roots, the &uacuThe only way to move forward is to be all united,” said Karogozian.

 “We must generate consensus and at UIA Joven we have been doing it with the J& (the six most representative young entities homonymous to the G6) and with the union youth. "We have to work on common points and put aside differences," added Marisol Rodríguez.

During the meeting, Alberto Fernández pointed out that “Argentina has to look for a new political, union and business generation. There is no need to continue old discussions. Strengthen points of agreement and put aside differences. Argentina needs a replacement generation that strengthens agreements and not differences. Everywhere, unions, business unions, politics. We must build another history, not to forget the past but to improve the future.”

The meetingIt lasted more than an hour, and at the end there was space for questions that had already been agreed upon by the group.
