We tell you that in a virtual meeting between CONICET and Banco Credicoop, a collaboration and credit assistance agreement was signed, to support the transcendent work carried out by this organization that promotes research and technological innovation among other disciplines.
This agreement aims to provide credit assistance to companies that use the services provided by CONICET, hand in hand with the Banco Credicoop Foundation, which will act as support and link between both Entities.
The credit offer has an initial quota of $200 million and its main characteristics are:
Projects must have the entity's work plan or budget and approval by the BC Foundation.
The details of the line can be consulted in the Regulatory Manager: Credits for Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+i).
This proposal will allow us to bring companies and social economy entities closer to financial tools that facilitate their access to technological improvements that increase their competitiveness and promote economic growth, as well as gain positioning in the market and strengthen the link with new entities and universities that provide these services.
We trust that this collaboration agreement will enhance the implementation of innovative projects that primarily strengthen the domestic market.

ANNEX
GENERAL CIRCUIT GUIDELINES
The company can request the provision of services from CONICET, through the subsidiary, the entity itself or the BC Foundation.
a) If the company submits the application to the Bank, the subsidiary will facilitate contact between the BC Foundation and the company, to coordinate with CONICET the provision of the services required. p>
b) If the company appears directly before CONICETor the BC Foundation, once the service agreement has been reached, the BC Foundation will designate the subsidiary to carry out the credit (in the event that they are not yet linked to the bank).
The provision of CONICET services can be carried out through:
- A Technical Assistance or R&D agreement: The agreement formalizes the rights and obligations of the parties, establishes a schedule of activities with results and budget, and at the same time allows obtaining guidelines for the implementation of financing. The company obtains an “Aval Note” (equivalent to the service budget), prior to signing the agreement.
- A STAN (High Level Technical Service): The company obtains a quote for the service.
These documents (Aval Note or STAN budget) will be audited by the BC Foundation for control and sealing. ThenIt will be sent to the subsidiary to begin the corresponding qualification process.
Sending the Commercial Proposal to Credit Risk Management:
The subsidiary must send the complete documentation in accordance with the provisions of the Company Banking File Documentation, indicating in the subject of the email the legend “CONICET – Company Name and Branch”, in order to give it priority treatment, and having in mind:
- The commercial proposal contains specific fields for Investment loans, which must be completed with the greatest possible detail - without exception - in order to process the application.
- Attach a copy of the “Note Endorsement” or the “STAN Budget”, as described above.
- Add all additional documentation that in the opinion of the Commercial Channel contributes to the analysissis and evaluation of the requested assistance.
Once the agreement is obtained, the subsidiary must communicate it to the BC Foundation to inform CONICET for the purposes of proceeding with:
- The signing of the Agreement between the company and CONICET
- The issuance of the STAN invoice/receipt
This new element (signed agreement or invoice/receipt) will also be intervened by the BC Foundation for its control and sealing and subsequent sending to the subsidiary to begin the implementation of the loan, entering the task through Process Management II – Income and Commercial Loan Institution Control.
Technical Assistance or R&D credits will be settled by disbursements, however, if it is a STAN service it will be a single disbursement.
