AIM Rosario made its end-of-year toast with associates, authorities and representatives of the productive sector
The Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario (AIM) held its traditional End of the Year Toast, a meeting that brought together associates, colleagues from the sector, representatives of business chambers, unions and government authorities of the city and the province.
A message focused on representation, training and development of the sector
During the meeting, the president of AIM, Rafael Catalano, accompanied by the secretary of Industrial Development, Guillermo Beccani, and the president of the Municipal Council of Rosario, María Eugenia Schmuck, addressed a few words to those present and highlighted the main lines of work that the entity maintained throughout the year.
In his speech, Catalano remarkedlhe importance of the representation of metallurgical companies before the different political establishments, underlining the active role that AIM has been playing in defense of the regional productive framework. Likewise, he valued the permanent support to associates, especially in a period crossed by economic challenges and fluctuations in activity levels.
Another central point of the message was the institution's firm commitment to training and technical training, strategic pillars to guarantee the competitiveness of the sector. In this framework, the president highlighted the initiatives carried out throughout the year and the various professional development programs promoted by AIM.
AIM insists on its proposal: declare Rosario “National Capital of the Metallurgical Industry”
Catalano reiterated one of the most relevant projects that the institution has been promoting: the declaration of Rosario as the National Capital of the Metallurgical Industry. He pointed out that this recognition would be a fundamental step to make visible the historical trajectory of the sector in the region and strengthen its productive identity at the national level.
Announcement of the competition with technical schools
In line with the educational commitment of the entity, the president announced the launch of a contest aimed at technical schools, an initiative aimed at strengthening links with educational institutions and promoting innovative projects that bring even closeryou;s young people to the industrial universe.
“The industrial future is built with education”, he stated, highlighting that AIM will continue to promote actions with schools in the region, both through donations of supplies and through proposals that promote creativity, technical training and job placement of students.
Institutional recognition
During the event, AIM made a special recognition to Miguel Ángel Marietta, who for years was a member of the entity's Board of Directors and who, due to his career and commitment, was designated an honorary associate of AIM.
A certainre marked by reflection and projection
The toast and closing was given by Mariano Casermeiro, general secretary of the Association, who highlighted the value of working together for the future of the Argentine industry. In his message, he highlighted the importance of “maintaining the cohesion of the sector to face 2026 with a common agenda,” and valued the effort and dedication shown by the associates throughout the year.
