Productive agenda: the UIA received ministers Kulfas and Moroni
Authorities of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) – headed by the president of the institution, Daniel Funes de Rioja – held a meeting this afternoon with the ministers of Production – Matías Kulfas – and of Labor, Employment and Social Security – Claudio Moroni–. At the meeting, topics related to the evolution of industrial indicators, sectoral and regional development, the labor agenda and Industry 4.0, among others, were addressed.
During the meeting, the industry's prospects for the second half of the year were analyzed. The UIA and the ministers agreed on the need to continue tworking on an agenda that enhances sectoral and federal development, the incorporation of more technology into production processes, and the generation of formal employment.
Within the framework of the meeting, the 4.0 agenda and the different programs were addressed -both at the public level and those of the institution, which are being carried out through the X Industry Center and XT Route-. The strategic axis of these initiatives is to raise the level of use of technologies through innovation services to all SMEs in sectors and regions, promoting the development of projects that incorporate 4.0 solutions. It was highlighted that this agenda values quality employment, productive investment, applied knowledge and innovation.
In addition, there was discussion about strategies to promote trainingprofessional, particularly dual education. Dual education aims to promote the convergence between theory and practice, granting opportunities to those young people who have completed secondary school, or are in their last year. The main objective is to offer them training opportunities in training centers and work practices in companies.
At the close of the meeting, the UIA authorities shared with the ministers the agenda for the commemoration of Industry Day, which will take place on September 2, and the federal activities that will be carried out on the way to the 27th Industrial Conference.
The authorities of the UIA and the officials of the Executive Branch agreed on the importance of the respective technical teams continuing to work together on the issues analyzed.ados during the meeting.
