The Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario presents its Economic Activity Report of the Rosario Region, corresponding to April 2024 (Year 8 - No. 40).< /p>
The purpose of this publication is to prepare and present relevant information, in a systematic and updated manner, regarding the current and structural evolution of the local, regional and national metallurgical industry. Also, provide elements for the study of its main obstacles, problems and relevance in the Argentine productive sector.

Some indicators are:
- The real turnover of the Rosario manufacturing industry registered a sharp drop of 12.8% year-on-year at the beginning of 2024.
- Ten important indicators identified by AIM Rosario show a significant drop in metallurgical activity in the city of Rosario, from December 2023 to the present, as a result of a significant drop in demand.
- In January 2024, the real turnover of the metallurgical sectors in Rosario evolved negatively:
“Metals, metal products and machinery” fell 17.7%,
“Vehicles and transportation equipment” decreased by 45.3%, while
“Electronic components and electrical equipment” presented a decrease of 31.5% compared to the same month of the previous year.
