The Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario presents its Economic Activity Report of the Rosario Region, corresponding to October 2023 (Year 7 - No. 37).< /p>
The purpose of this publication is to prepare and present relevant information, in a systematic and updated manner, regarding the current and structural evolution of the local, regional and national metallurgical industry. Also, provide elements for the study of its main obstacles, problems and relevance in the Argentine productive sector.

Some indicators to highlight are:
In July 2023, the real turnover of the metallurgical sectors in Rosario evolved with mixed results: while “metals, metal products and machinery” grew by 7.9%, in the case of “vehicles and transport equipment” There was a 9.9% drop, and also a 5.1% drop in “electronic components and electrical equipment”
The level of activity of the metallurgical industry in the province of Santa Fe faced a decrease of 3.5% year-on-year in August 2023.
From September 2020 to the present, the total number of salaried workers in the Santa Fe metallurgical industry has expanded in year-on-year terms, consolidating in this way a stage of recovery and growth of formal employment for three consecutive years.
With more than 58,000 registered salaried workers, formal employment in the Santa Fe metallurgical industry expanded by 1.9% year-on-year in July 2023.
