The Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of Rosario presents its Economic Activity Report of the Rosario Region, corresponding to August 2023 (Year 7 - No. 36).< /p>
The purpose of this publication is to prepare and present relevant information, in a systematic and updated manner, regarding the current and structural evolution of the local, regional and national metallurgical industry. Also, provide elements for the study of its main obstacles, problems and relevance in the Argentine productive sector.

Some indicators to highlight are:
Formal employment in the Santa Fe metallurgical industry has grown repeatedly since June 2020 and to the present, thus consolidating an important stage of recovery of 37 consecutive months.
Totaling more than 58 thousand registered salaried workers, formal employment in the metallurgical industry grew by 2.4% year-on-year in June 2023.
The current level of metallurgical employment is 21.6% above the minimum recorded in May 2020 (pandemic), a figure equivalent to the creationn of more than 10,000 jobs.
