The José Censabella Technology Center incorporates a modern forklift simulator for initial training in this work equipment.
“With the incorporation of this simulator we reinforce our commitment to being at the forefront of technology,” explains Engineer Omar Berrocal, manager of Censabella. And he adds: “We align ourselves with pillars of the 4th. Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0, such as augmented reality and simulators.”
This forklift simulator was acquired by the Censabella Center within the framework of an agreement of the Competitiveness Program for Regional Economies (PROCER) promoted by the national government. The Program facilitated the execution of the "Expansion of technological services" project for the acquisition of different technological tools. The equipment was manufactured entirely in Argentina bythe company DELTA 3 SRL, which specializes in augmented reality and the development of simulators for professional training.
Next steps
Initial courses with this new technology will soon begin to be offered, so that people from different companies can attend initial training at Censabella.
Aspiring operators will be able to have a virtual driving experience and perform all the maneuvers that a common forklift allows and in a space similar to an industrial plant.
After that, the training continues with exercises on the Censabella electric forklift and with the final evaluation. Upon completion of the evaluation, operators receive a driving license and professional training certificate.
