Young AIM took students from Technique 392 to tour a new industry
A group of 20 6th year students from the “Oath of the Flag” Professional Technical School No. 392 in Rosario, accompanied by Technical Teachers Daniel Allena and Sergio Rodriguez, toured the Rogiro Aceros Galea SRL companies. They did so accompanied by AIM Joven within the framework of the Open Doors Program carried out by Adimra throughout the country through its regional entities.
Victoria Oldani and Mariano Casermeiro were present for AIM Joven, who along with the students were received by the Engineer and managing partner of the company Oscar G.indin.
At the beginning of the day, the students visited the company's training room where they met the quality manager of the firm, who instructed them about the different qualities of steel and their properties, as well as of the importance of having the company certified cwith the ISO 9000 standard.
Then, the delegation was divided into two groups of 10 and, with protective helmets, the students and teachers had the opportunity to tour the company under the supervision and accompaniment of Engineer Oscar Gindin, to whom the students did everything the questions of the different ones.
Gindin began the talk by going through the history of the company: “We started in 73 and since 79 we have also been transforming steel. The criteria of this company is very simple, we add value to steel both commercially and industrially. The processes we do are: drawing, peeling, grinding and in all these processes there is a process that is repeated everywhere, which is straightening.”
